Yikes! Time goes tooooo fast here. Before I know it, another day has come and gone and there is still heaps of work to do, both up in the office and down at the horses. Thankfully Max and Jake are here moving grass and bermuda hay, and Nicole, Debbie, and Sharon are shoveling stalls.
Remember our Cowboy Picnic is this Saturday from 11:30 to 4:00! Come see the animals, listen to the music, check out the auction items, and RELAX! Bring the kids for the petting zoo and pony rides, and see how wonderful and gentle the horses are (except for the 5 wildies, of course!
Our Rosie had a groin injury in January (we think she did the splits somehow) and still doesn't show much improvement in spite of bute twice a day. Got lucky and saw Doc Tryon who said it is always possible that she pulled muscles or ligaments off her pelvis. Anyhow, we will continue to rest her and try some MSM too. Soft tissue injuries always take a very long time to heal. Rosie is one of our best rides, and every one here loves her. She was dropped here by a hauler several years ago, and little did we know she was pregnant. Her daughter, Akhini, is here too - Akhini was adopted by Renee Robinson and her husband, Jim King.
